A poem dealing with the question of fate and loss and whether the cosmos is uncaring or randomly helpful.

‘Sinking Into The Sky’ explores the sky during a windstorm. If you were to look the night sky under these condition’s, in a certain place, you would begin to swim across the sky as if it were the sea.

‘to astral project’ explores astral projection. The poem theorizes that those who are able to astral project are able to enter into other people’s dreams and essentially become life or death themselves.

Legends linking women and the moon have been told for centuries, this tale spins a new origin story.

A bad trip

Death calls

Enough said

The arrival of an alien ship and the encounter with these visitors constitutes an event on a planetary scale and impacts one of the spectators.

A supervillain caper in a post-Singular world turns out to be a story about how hard it is to babysit a toddler. Not sure if the effect is dream-like, but it certainly ain’t normal! (Story is part of a cycle of stories set in this post-Singular world featuring Antonio Van der Whall, object psychologist.)

An original speculative fiction piece with several twists. Some American Railroad Slang is used. No AI was used in its composition.

Cozy is the story of a young man named Magellan, who is something of a space pilgrim. Serving as a crew member/life-time resident of the ship: The Aspiration, Magellan gives us insight into a day of life aboard a spaceship.

This speculative poem is an exploration into space imagery and metaphors, where I engage playfully with my inclination (in life and writing) to ‘cloud’ my experiences and emotions with fantasy and imagination. But what happens when the clouds lift? What hidden truths are finally revealed? What is real and what is a dream?

A man discovers a small, strange-looking figure staring at him from behind a mesh screen under his apartment complex. In pursuing the encounter, he discovers he’s not the only one who’s been wrapped up in what appears to be a dark mystery far greater — and weirder — than a lost child.

“Night of the Space Rain” describes a surreal experience involving a rare and mesmerizing event. The narrator stands outside and witnesses something extraordinary in the sky, something that evokes both wonder and peace. As they interact with this phenomenon, they reflect on its beauty and significance, recognizing it as a mysterious gift from the universe. My piece touches on a deeper connection between nature and the unknown, hopefully leaving the reader intrigued by the narrator’s quiet awe and the scientific mystery behind what they’ve witnessed.

“Stellar Sex and Solitude” humorously imagines cosmology as a passionate love affair, lonely estrangement, and jealous revenge.
